Yum! Brands is shutting all of its KFC franchises in Pakistan in the wake of anti-American protests there, after one of its KFC restaurants was attacked in Lebanon last week.
There are more than 60 KFC restaurants in 21 Pakistani cities. Another division of the company called KFC Arabia has outlets in 11 Middle East cities.
Other American owned outlets in the Middle East affected by the protests about the anti-Islamic film include Hardee’s and Krispy Kreme.
