We have certainly created man IN hardship (90:4) In hardship, not with hardship but in hardship, illustrating that there is no escape from it and in fact it has be ordained to be so.
From the moment we are born to the moment we die, we are in difficulty.
Allah swt is The Most Merciful.. He is more Merciful to you than your own parents and even yourself so then you might consider that these difficulties that we face at every step in our lives is indeed a mercy. It is a rahma from Allah subhanu wa ta'ala.
In the same surah ...
ثم كان من الذين امنوا وتواصو بالصبر وتواصوا بالمرحمة
And then being among those who believed and advised one another to patience and advised one another to compassion (90:17) Compassion and patience... A match made in heaven and the secrets to success?
RasoolAllah sAllahu 'alayhi wa salam said that the believers in their affection, mercy and compassion for each other is that of a body. When any limb aches, the whole body reacts with sleeplessness and fever. Where is this compassion, mercy and patience when we deal with one another. Our daily relationships from our parents to the bus driver are all important.
Allah guides to His Light whom He wills... May Allah swt guide us all so that we may perfect our relationships in this world. May He guide us to follow the best of creation, our Messenger SAW in order to perfect our connection to our Creator.
